Hi, my name is Julian. I’m 14 and a half, and I come from Yangon, Myanmar. When I first arrived in Mae Sot, I went to a Christian school, but things were really difficult there. The teachers didn’t treat me well, and the education wasn’t very good. They made me feel embarrassed about who I am, and I never felt comfortable. I joined Mudita three years ago, and everything changed. This school feels like home. The teachers are kind, supportive, and the way they teach really motivates me to learn. I feel safe here and free to be myself. Even though I have friends, I’m still a bit shy. I like doing creative things on my own—I love drawing, singing, and especially dancing. My dream is to become a K-pop idol one day, so whenever I have free time, I practice a lot. For me, Mudita isn’t just a school. It’s like my second family, and I’m really grateful that I get to be here.
