How can I support the Mudita family?

What does "Mudita" mean?
Freely translated it means “the joy of sharing” or “delighting in other people’s well-being and happiness”.
What are the goals of Mudita Foundation?
Our goal is, to improve the life of underprivileged children in Myanmar, show the people how to live with more joy an peace and share all that with the world.
Where is the Mudita Foundation located?
Our German NGO is registered in Hamburg, Germany. Our main project is located in Myanmar, near the famous Inle lake.
What is the Mudita Foundation?
We are a NGO based in Germany (Mudita e.V.).

2. Volunteer

How long can I stay?
You should stay at least for three weeks. There’s no limit on the time you can stay with us, as long as you respect our rules.
What else should I know about the stay?
Try to adapt to the life of the locals, respecting the culture and the rules in the monastery.
How are the conditions in the project as a volunteer?
The conditions are simple but clean. Your living in a dormitory, made out of natural materials like Bamboo and mud.
Do I have to pay a fee as a volunteer for accommodation and food?
No, your wage is ‘food and lodging’ so you don’t need to pay for that.
How can I apply for volunteering?
You can apply over “Workaway” or directly over our website. Just make sure, you have read all the information in the FAQ and on the site “Join” before you apply.

Do I get a donation receipt?
If you donate through Betterplace, you will get one automatically at the end of each year.

If you donate though Facebook or directly to our Bank account, please let us know that you need one, you will get it directly from us.
