Hey I'm Kallum, I am from Burma. I Joined Mudita 6 months ago. Getting here wasn't easy. Every time we made progress, a group of soldiers would intervene, drill us with questions, extort us and this one time threatened to throw me in jail. I’ve matured a lot since coming here. My mental is Stronger, My intelligence has grown and even though this town doesn’t feel safe, I feel at ease here at Mudita. I’ve made great friends, I discovered I enjoy math, and I joined the school band. This place has given me the tools to discover more about myself. Outside of school, I love soccer. It feels good to run when it's not attached to a war zone. My dream is to become rich in fulfilment, to become someone that can help change and impact the country I came from.
