Hygene and related health isssues are a big problem in Myanmar’s monastic education centres. Children with no prior knowledge about hygene rules frequently fall ill with fungus and bacterial infections.

Since we started our center, this is one of our priorities. We are washing our children, cleaning the infected areas with medicine and apply cream every day.

With the help of our nurses and volunteers, all 200 children are being checked every week and the infected ones are treated on daily basis. With this approach, we almost extinguished the fungus problem among children in our center.
